Welcome to Leonard Hall Junior Naval Academy and thank you for your interest. We are a small school, rich in tradition, and located in beautiful Southern Maryland. We operate in a military environment with a Navy-style uniform and within naval customs. Our educational program is certified by the State of Maryland and we provide a demanding academic program designed to make our students think for themselves.  Our classes are small by mandate averaging 15 students per class. The Leonard Hall teachers are enthusiastic and teach for love of their profession. They are the strongest asset of Leonard Hall and provide a spirit and excitement that is evident in the halls of our school. The military program is designed to be fun and to foster character and fortitude for the many decisions that young adults face in today's world. The students at Leonard Hall know that if they meet the demands made of them in the academic and military programs of the school, they will be rewarded and, if they need some extra motivation, the Leonard Hall system will provide it.
