Leonard Hall Junior Naval Academy clearly has a goal of instilling a sense of community service and pride in each and every Midshipman.  Volunteerism is an integral part of the program.  Our Midshipmen participate in a variety of local parades such as:  St. Mary's Fair Parade, Blessing of the Fleet Parade, PRAD, Leonardtown Veteran's Day Parade, National Cherry Blossom Parade and the St. Patrick's Day Parade in DC.  With our participation in these parades we are following in the footsteps and tradition of many former LHJNA students and also substantially contributing to our local community.

Leonard Hall is also extremely proud of it's midshipmen who volunteer in their own unique way in the community through church programs, fire/rescue programs and many other organizations.  This is honored by way of acknowledgement and the earning of a military ribbon.
